When I worked in warehouses and we had containers arrive we just had to deal with it. Our regular tasks would go on the back burner while we dealt with a 20'  or 40' metal trailer filled with boxes.

This represents a great improvement. As long as the firm knows when their container will arrive they can schedule contact staff from ECM to unload the container. As as the ECM staff are paid on a per-container basis, they have a strong incentive to be fast and efficient. (I was told that the top employees can make $70,000 per year.)

Sounds like a winning proposition all round.
